Tender closing date has been extended from the previous deadline of October 25, 2021.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, plant and equipment necessary and as shown and specified for the construction, testing, commissioning, and maintenance support during the defects liability period. The TE pipeline will be constructed in one phase. Some portions of any components of the Works may not be carried out and, if so, Contractor will not be entitled to any claim for additional payment whatsoever. The TE construction works include, without being limited to, mainly the following activities:
Survey works
Excavation and filling
Supply, install, test and commissioning of pipes with fitting and appurtenances
Supply, install, construct, test and commissioning of Valves chambers and accessories installations
Supply, install, test and commissioning of pumps set with all related accessories inside the existing pumping station
Surface reinstatement
Special works for crossings (roads, wadis,…...etc)
Network marking
Data collection, testing, cleaning. Disinfection, shop drawings and commissioning, HDPE welding
The Employer has determined the pipe diameters and proposed routes of the TE pipelines to be constructed. All necessary investigations and preparatory work is to be carried out by the Contractor, including the obtaining of excavation permits. It shall be responsibility of the Contractor to demarcate the plot in accordance with the requirements of relevant authorities. All necessary investigations, and preparatory work, including validation of existing topographic survey of the pipeline route, geological survey for rock excavation and soil investigation surveys, are to be carried out by the Contractor, together with the obtaining of excavation permits and another other surveys, agreements and permits necessary for the construction of the Works. The Contractor shall ascertain for himself the exact scope of work including all material/M&E Plant to be supplied such that the installation is complete and in working order on completion of the contract. It shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to visit the site, ascertain for him all the site constraints. The minimum pressure rating for TE pipelines are specified and the Contractor shall demonstrate through calculations submitted to the Engineer that the pipes he proposes for the Works shall satisfy the requirements for maximum working pressure, surge and backfilling with external load conditions.
Time for Completion of the Works: 
The whole of the Works, including the Provisional Items / Bills, if instructed to be included in the Works, shall be completed within a maximum Time for Completion of the Works of 12 months, as defined by the Standard Conditions of Contract.
