Client has awarded China Harbour Engineering Company has been awarded the main contract on this scheme. Client approved the awarding of a contract for the project at a cost of 150 million dirhams, to enhance the aesthetic value of the current beach, provide adequate coastal defense, and increase green spaces, in tune with the Ajman 2040 Urban Strategic Plan, in various sectors and walks of life. Ajman Corniche is one of the most important areas that attract residents, tourists and investors around the clock, as it is a natural area characterized by elements of attraction and beauty. Client decided to carry out the qualitative project whose impact will be eyed by all, as it will provide the elements of luxury and happiness for its visitors and will ensure the creation of various facilities that meet the needs of all segments and categories. Ajman is a city of civilization, beauty, leadership and development and ceaselessly works for sustainable improvement and development, creating perfect natural places for residents and visitors, and upgrading its important landmarks to serve as a destination that attracts individuals, economy and investment. It is worth mentioning that the client’s qualified competencies have worked over the last period to prepare an ambitious and integrated plan to develop the Corniche and make it a lively area wherein all the needs and aspirations of its visitors are met. The development will include expanding the beach area and providing it with green spaces and various activities to suit all tastes.

Work is moving at a steady pace on the project, which will see the setting up of new rock wave barriers, along with a seabed barrier in the first phase. This phase also includes the construction of southern, central, and northern rock wave barriers, along with a seabed barrier. Moreover, the project includes dredging sand approximately 3km from the shore to nourish and broaden the beachfront. The project’s goals are to elevate the visual appeal of the existing beachfront, implement effective coastal protection measures, and expand the greenery within Ajman’s prime natural leisure zones. the work is in line with a comprehensive development plan and consistent with the ambitious vision of the Ajman. The vision aims to achieve sustainable improvements to its significant natural landmarks, transforming them into an appealing hub for the economy, investment, tourism, happiness, and optimal living.
