Bid submission is currently in progress for the main contract. The main construction contract of the project is expected to be awarded in Q3 2019. Al Mabani General Contracting Company, El Seif Engineering Contracting Company and Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. are some of the notable bidders.
Prequalified companies are preparing to submit bid by 1 August, 2019 for the main contract. The contract is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2019 and the contract duration is for 20 months.
Client is currently evaluating bids for the main contract on this project. At least four bids are understood to have been submitted for the contract. Prequalified bidders for the contract include:

It is understood that two teams, including the FCC/Saudi Freyssinet joint venture, withdrew from bidding for the project, while some of the stand-alone firms formed consortiums prior to bidding for the contract.
