JanuaryKing Salman Park Foundation (KSPF) is currently evaluating bids for an excavation package. The contract’s scope includes excavation and backfilling work, as well as dewatering activities if required.

MarchKSPF has floated a tender for the Visitor’s centre at King Salman Park. Contractors have been given until 11 April 2021 to complete submissions. The scope of the contract includes civil works for the structure, which is designed to feature a courtyard surrounded by five pavilions, each of which will comprise public education facilities. The centre will span 80,000 square-meters and host interactive shows, as well as feature multi-purpose halls, a meeting room, a plant nursery, coffee shops and restaurants. The UK’s Adjaye Associates is architect for the visitor’s centre.
