Client is preparing to shift the focus of the world’s largest piling project to The Line modules at the marina as excavation work for the waterway reaches an advanced stage.

Client plans to start issuing tender documents for construction work on The Line before the end of 2023. The client has recently revealed the expected timeline for upcoming construction packages for several building modules and the hidden marina. The upcoming tenders cover the construction of basements for modules 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48 and an onsite basement precast yard facility. Client plans to tender the work in 12 packages, six of which will be for the rafts, five for the basements and one for the basement precast yard facility.  The basement precast yard facility will be built on a design, build, operate and maintain (DBOM) basis. Client expects companies to form joint ventures or consortiums to execute the work. The briefing was attended by a range of local and international contractors, including:
