Al-Sarh Holding Group has been awarded the main contract with a value of QR434mn. This package will serve 470 land plots. The proposed Roads and Infrastructure Works for advanced Package 04 in this tender will include, but not limited to the construction of the following:
Road Network with fully paved carriageways, including signalized junctions (traffic signals) and Roundabouts at grade; with provision for pedestrians and cyclist. On street parking layout and configuration;
Kerblines and footways adjacent to roads;
Road signs ( including signage gantries), lighting and road markings as required;
Complete Surface water and Groundwater drainage system to function during and after the construction period;
Section of Al Wakra Tunnel for Surface water and Groundwater, within Package 04;
Advance direction signs and street signs;
Groundwater discharge and monitoring boreholes;
Complete Foul Sewer Network, including House Connection up to Stage 1 only (up to property boundary) and removal of septic tanks within the Right of Way;
Soft and hard landscaping;
Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE), complete with SCADA provision and irrigation main lines;
Complete Potable Water Network including protection and diversion of existing mains
Full Electrical Network Designs, including Road Lighting – Local Roads, Electricity Networks – MV & LV, Distribution Substations – 11/0.415kV, Distribution Substations 11/0.415kV;
Full Civil Infrastructure network (Ducting and Chambers) for Telecoms (CRA,Ooredoo & QNBN), ITS, MOI-SSD & QAF;
Protection of existing services;
Mobilisation, Site offices, Site plant, fencing, walls and other accommodation works;
Verification & Location and marking of all Utilities and ascertain the status of each of the Utilities and determine the requirements for maintaining services operationally for the duration of the Works;
General Items/Preliminaries; provision and compliance with QCS 2014 health & safety, work permits, setting out, temporary accommodation and welfare facilities, lockable storage, temporary fencing, hoardings and security, appropriate temporary signage, etc.;
The MEP contract is expected to be awarded in Q2 of 2019.
Construction works are currently in progress and expected to be finished in 2022
